Digital camera Review: Small and Great!

I used this in Argentina to charge my Macbook Pro and it worked perfectly! It was sturdy and small and fit in my laptop bag nicely. I will definitely use it on my next trip.

Digital camera Review: The last worldwide power adapter you will need
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is beyond simple in intent. It's a one-stop solution to power adapters in one easy device. Two sets of prongs cover every country's power outlets...the flat prongs being easily rotated to accomodate slanted outlet holes. And there's a widget that stays inside the unit for use for the UK. When one looks at this device, the first thought might be, "Well, there's not much here," and that's the whole idea. In this case, simple is good. Please note this is not a power converter. Buy this, throw it in your travel bag, and you won't need another converter...ever.

Digital camera Review: This product does NOT convert voltage.
Summary: 3 Stars

This fact wasn't clear to me in the product overview... If you plan to use this, the products you plug in have to be rated for 110-240 V, if that is the case this adapter works great.

Digital camera Review: Use in Hong Kong?
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought the adaptor and for the first time tried to use it in Hong Kong. I didn't take the instructions with me because it looked pretty simple. I noted in some reviews that people had problems using it in England but the instructions said it would work in Hong Kong. I was able to find the little plastic piece that you apparently need for the English and Hong Kong type plug but I couldn't figure out how to use it. The flat prongs that rotate were too narrow to go in the plug and the only other option were the round European prongs. Since they were round and not flat I didn't attempt to use them, although I did think about it. When I got home and looked at the instructions I think I could have used the round prongs and the little plastic piece on the receptacles in Hong Kong. The instructions need to better. I think a lot of users have had similar problems. Other than that it is a nice compact piece of travel equipment.
