Digital camera Review: Might work for some - not for MacBook Pro.

I bought this to use with my 17" MacBook Pro. I returned it nearly as soon as I bought it because my laptop slides right off. The MacBook is quite light and does not have large rubber feet. A heavy laptop with decent-sized rubber feet might work fine with this stand. It also has absolutely no cooling effect on my laptop (not what I bought it for, but worth mentioning.)Digital camera Review: More than ample for my needs

I was in need of something to not only elevate my laptop but also to help distribute the heat produced underneath it (I own a Dell Inspiron B130), I came across this stand. It gets the laptop off of my lap and also helps the computer to more properly cool itself. I don't put my mouse in the little slot in the middle, but I suppose you could. My mouse (a logitech) does not fit. The outer fabric is washable and seems very durable. The dual use sides are also a nice benefit.Digital camera Review: Most convenien notebook stand

This cushioned notebook stand from Belkin is a best buy. By raising the height of the computer, either on the lap or the desk, the ergonomics are greatly improved. Less back strain and easier viewing (screen is closer to eye level) are two of the advantages. Flipping the stand over accomodates larger notebooks, and having an internal compartment provides convenient storage for external drives, extra cables, etc.Digital camera Review: Nice Notebook stand

I got this stand be cause I like to use my laptop in bed,and it works well for this, it keeps it cool,is light. also I put a board in the opening which I slide out to use as a surface for my mouse.Digital camera Review: Nice but dark in color

I have the khaki which looks more like a light silver...spilled some coffee on it which would not come out so I ordered the SILVER. When I received it, I was surprised at how dark the color was! It was more like a dark grey than silver. If you don't mind the color, it's a great product! I use it with my netbook when I am in bed or out on my deck sitting on the floor...very sturdy! For me, I did end up ordering the khaki one again but will keep the silver for an extra backup just in case!
