Digital camera Review: More than ample for my needs

I was in need of something to not only elevate my laptop but also to help distribute the heat produced underneath it (I own a Dell Inspiron B130), I came across this stand. It gets the laptop off of my lap and also helps the computer to more properly cool itself. I don't put my mouse in the little slot in the middle, but I suppose you could. My mouse (a logitech) does not fit. The outer fabric is washable and seems very durable. The dual use sides are also a nice benefit.Digital camera Review: I LOVE IT!

I ordered this even though I was worried by the other reviews that list "too slick", "too big" or "not enough room to store things" as it's negatives. I really like it. I have an older 12" wide IBM thinkpad that's smaller than the cloth pad, but I don't have to flip it for size unless I prefer to. It's grippy and the laptop sits in place very sturdily! I can also fit my power thingy in it and the mouse for when I carry it from room to room. But what I really like (and didn't expect) is that while the computer is on my lap - previously precariously balanced while I'm in bed or lounging - it now sits sturdy and doesn't bounce while I type! And I don't have to constantly adjust the computer. It's very comfortable on my lap and it really does keep the laptop cooler than if it sits on any other fabric surface.
I like it so much, I would give it as a gift!

If you are going to use your laptop in your lap, then this is a must. Comfortable, easy to use and puts the laptop at the right angle for relaxed viewing. Keeps laptop heat away from you. I would recommend this stand if you spend a lot of time (like I do) with your laptop on your lap. I found it very comfortable.
