Digital camera Review: I LOVE IT!

I ordered this even though I was worried by the other reviews that list "too slick", "too big" or "not enough room to store things" as it's negatives. I really like it. I have an older 12" wide IBM thinkpad that's smaller than the cloth pad, but I don't have to flip it for size unless I prefer to. It's grippy and the laptop sits in place very sturdily! I can also fit my power thingy in it and the mouse for when I carry it from room to room. But what I really like (and didn't expect) is that while the computer is on my lap - previously precariously balanced while I'm in bed or lounging - it now sits sturdy and doesn't bounce while I type! And I don't have to constantly adjust the computer. It's very comfortable on my lap and it really does keep the laptop cooler than if it sits on any other fabric surface.
I like it so much, I would give it as a gift!

I use this thing all the time. First, it keeps my laptop cool. I'll use it for 1 - 3 hours at a time and my computer does not overheat like it used to. Second, I love the open section, I'll put my ipod, phone in there when I'm using the laptop. It's very handy.
It sits comfortably on my lap when I'm sitting on the couch etc. It does not work very well if you're sitting at a table.

I spend alot of time in my room playing on the computer and after trying to balance it on a pillow or an old telephone book..I was desperately in need for something a little more sturdy and comfortable on my wrists. At first I ended up with searches for 'mini desks'...that mostly looked like a tray for 'breakfast in bed'...then I came across this one and figured..what the heck..I'll give it a try ~ WOW..it's perfect..comes in different colors and is so lightweight I can take it anywhere. Because of a bad back, I often have to use my laptop while sitting in bed. The Belkin Cushtop makes that a much more pleasant experience than it used to be. The Cushtop holds the computer steady so that it doesn't slide off and it keeps the heat from burning my legs. It has a firm, solid feel and is not really "cushy," which is a good thing. Highly recommended!
