I use this armband about twice a week at the gym to listen to podcasts on the bike and elliptical machines. It's small and folds into a small space like a gym bag well. It holds the iPhone securely and you can easily access the touch screen and the side volume buttons. After many workouts and no washings, the armband doesn't smell like a workout armband, so you don't have to wash it much.
Another review says the band is a little small. Because I've worked out with weights for the past 7 years I have bigger arms than most people. Still, I'm not a bodybuilder and with my arm the band just fits. If you wrap the band with the iPhone together first, and then slide your arm through the band, the armband should work for most people. However, if you have big arms because you are overweight or a true body builder, then this armband is not the armband for you.

I frankly can't believe they even attempted to sell this. It is clearly defective. Firstly, it won't even fit around an average size arm comfortably. Secondly, even when it does, it rips in short order. In my case, it fell apart after two workouts. Not sure why Amazon hasn't acted on this- it is clear based on all of the reviews.Digital camera Review: Pretty good

It wasn't what I expected when it arrived but turned out to work pretty well. I find that it stays in place on my arm and secures my iphone with no problems with it falling out during work outs. The side pocket (for keys) is helpful but I don't use it that often because it only fits one or two keys at a time. The one thing that is not exceptional is the volume control area. Because it's a soft armband I find that I have to push pretty hard to make contact with my volume controls and my volume controls don't always correspond with the armband's designated control indicators due to some iphone movement inside it's sleeve. Haven't used this much, but so far, so good. It seems a little flimsy, but it's held up to my minimal usage. It's also a little difficult to get the phone in and out of the pocket, but that may be a symptom of all arm-band type media holders (I hae always used hip-pack types before).
Outside of that, the phone is fully operational while inside through the clear plastic, and I wore it during a downpour (NOT recommended) and my phone remained completely dry.
