I bought this product for surge protection on my Dell laptop, using it primarily at home but will also utlize it when traveling. I have always liked Belkin products and this is no exception, it is small, compact and certainly does the job for laptop applications. Fits very nicely into any standard 3 prong grounded outlet, the indicating lights are an excellent feature that lets you know the computer is protected and the grounded outlet is functioning properly. A great product overall
