Received the KVM Switch in the mail today and installed it as I had with previous KVM Switches. It didn't work and I wasn't very happy. Then I decided to read the user guide. Uninstalled and reinstalled according to instructions and it now works as it is suppose to. I purchased this KVM to switch between two desktop machines, one of which is dedicated to video editing, one of which is dedicated to audio. Not only do I use a USB mouse and Keyboard, but i have external hard drives hooked up through a USB hub into the KVM to switch between the machine. It works wonderfully. There is a 4 - 5 second lag when you switch for the keyboard and mouse to become active, but other than that no complaints on the operability. Make sure the switcher is set to the correct machine when booting otherwise your computer will not detect the display.
On the negative side, I noticed that there is some signal noise when you switch. Pixels randomly fire creating green and red dots all over my monitor (Dell 3007WFP 30"). It seems to go away after 2-3 minutes, but it is a bit annoying.

I have my computer attached to a television using a DVI-HDMI adapter. It works perfectly when directly attached, but will not work with this KVM attached. This worked perfectly with my Dell when docked but when the Dell was replaced by an HP, the KVM switch would not consistently output video. After email and phone calls to both Bell and Belkin, it was decided that there was a product limitation on the KVM switch and that it just wouldn't work. Belkin said there recommendation is not to use the Flip with a docking station although it does NOT state that in their product literature.
