I've seen many reviews advising not to buy "expensive" HDMI cables because there is no difference in quality. It's probably true that you won't see a difference in picture quality, but you will see a difference in build quality.
These Belkin cables have solid connectors and a strong woven jacket. If it gets pinched or bent it will hold up.
I've had many Belkin cables over the years, and I've never had a problem with any of them.
These are somewhat less expensive than Monster-type brands, but the quality (image and construction) are definitely on par. You won't go wrong.

I was skeptical that this cable would be better than the discount cable I was replacing it with, but I was having some picture issues and thought it might be the cables I was using. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged these in. The picture was noticeably clearer and more consistent. I replaced all of my HDMI cables with the Belkin silver series. I don't have too much more to say than this cable does what it was built to do. I am not any kind of expert when it comes to these types of things, but I get a great, crystal clear picture from my DVD player through this cable. I bought it because it was cheaper than the equal Monster cable, and I don't regret the decision.
