Belkin Pivot-Plug Surge Protectors
Belkin makes a lot of good quality items that are reasonably priced, this is no exception, does exactly what it claims, provides protection for computers or entertainment center.
Digital camera Review: Best Surge Protector. Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best surge protector I have ever used. I have been using it for about 8 months now for my computer, modem, router, printer, monitor, speakers, and a lamp on top of that. This thing powers it all without a hiccup or the need for additional outlets. The rotating outlets do help out in managing bulky transformers.
I have no complaints at all. In fact I'm buying a second for my TV and associated parts.
Digital camera Review: Best on Market in Price Range and Size Summary: 5 Stars
This is by far the best protective unit I have used and I have some $10,000 worth of equipment relying on it and a back up powersource all utilizing this outstanding Belkin product.
It is large compared to many but still quite small and none of the strips offer 12 outlets not to mention 8 that are flexible, 4 on each side and then the stationary 4 on the top of the unit.
This day and age it seems almost any device seems to have the transformer brick plug which with standard strips of outlets over steps the bounds and makes usually renders one or more sockets not usable.
You have on the one end a place that can try to mange the chords but not really all twelve if you are using them all. In any case that is not a major concern. I have my plugs and all that hidden anyway and use twist ties to help keep them together and that helps to manage them ok.
I highly recommend this exceptional 12 socket power surge protector for anyone with high end equipment. I have used both 2 and 3 prong plugs with no issues.
Digital camera Review: Best plug strip I've had Summary: 5 Stars
I was concerned with a few somewhat negative reviews but I didn't have any problems. It took just a couple minutes to unplug the old outdated plug strip and plug in 6 normal plugs and 2 abnormal larger plugs. I was only "offline" for a couple minutes before everything was plugged back in and I was feeling more comfortable with the added surge protection. Great product at a great price.
Digital camera Review: Best power station yet! Summary: 5 Stars
Remember when an extension cord with two or three outlets used to do the trick? Well, from there, I moved to a five outlet strip, which worked well except that some power adaptors needed to block one outlet while being plugged into another. Then I found a round power center which took five plugs of any kind without any trouble. Then came the power squid, with five cords of various length so that each one was like a separate extension cord. But Belkin has really outdone themselves with this TWELVE outlet power center with four fixed outlets in the center and four outlers on each side that swivel. And, of course, like most decent power centers, it has a built-in surge protector. For its versatility, its small footprint and the sheer number of outlets, this product is definitely the most convenient one on the market at this time.
