Digital camera Review: Center plugs DO work

An earlier reviewed stated that the center row of plugs cannot be used. This is incorrect, at least on the unit I received. I have been able to plug both two and three prong plugs into every one of the outlets in the center row, as well as to the pivoting ones on the sides. This seems to be an excellent product, particularly if one is looking for a surge suppressor with a low profile. Couple of the outlets don't work with grounded plugs. The problem is in the center non-rotating outlets. the second from the bottom felt like something broke when I attempted to insert a grounded plug and it will not fully seat in the outlet. That outlet and the one directly above it will not power a grounded plug. A plug with only two prongs works okay. I did not return it though because of the hassle and the fact I do not need all of the outlets. I use all of the rotating outlets and they are working fine. I like the rotating feature. Keeps everything in my setup looking less cluttered since the wires lay flat with the surge protector.Digital camera Review: DOA!! bad luck?

I'm very happy with this surge protector - we've got a television, dvr, dvd player and a Wii hooked into it, plus we're running the cable through it into the television. We've lost a television in the past due to surging, and Florida summers are filled with thunderstorms. Of course, I don't know whether this will really protect in the next thunderstorm especially if there were a direct hit (there's thunder outside as I type this...) but I do expect it will protect against less serious power surges, which do happen on occasion. This gives me peace of mind - especially with the $300,000 connected equipment warranty. Plus, it's a lot neater than my old powerstrip, and a lot more roomy for the larger plugs with adapters built into them.Digital camera Review: Delivers Just What You Would Expect

This is the second Belkin Pivot surge protector that I bought off Amazon. As with the first, this seems to be a good surge protector. The pivoting plugs make it very easy to plug in all my computer and home theater equipment. The price on Amazon also makes this very affordable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cost effective, versatile surge protector.
