Digital camera Review: A useful item to have

I like Belkin products, they are well made and this is no exception. The swivel plugs do make attaching multiple items easier especially with transformers and such though it doesn't totally solve the space issue, I think the plug liberators do that a bit better. But overall this works well and I trust the quality of Belkin to do the job on the surge protection. Quite frankly, living in the city, I don't use the cable or the phone protectors, never have and would not miss them. Also the cable organizer clip doesn't really do much for me, but for the primary purpose of attaching multiple devices, protecting the electronics and improving space utilization this product does the job for me. Product works as needed.
For those complaining about the middle plugs, I just had to push a little harder and the plugs went in just fine. Nothing broke and all is well.
I haven't had any power spikes that I'm aware of so I cannot comment on how well it suppresses the surges (but that's a good thing imo)

I bought this surge protector primarily based on reviews here on Amazon.I liked the design that allowed for me to plug in at least 12 3-prong cords at once. However, the main reason was the supposed ability of this surge protector to prevent electrical surges.One sign I should have known the workmanship was not up to snuff was the very flimsy on/off button - it doesn't feel substantial at all and sometimes it takes more than one push to turn the unit on. THis wasn't a problem until one morning I turned on the unit and after turning on briefly, it suddenly turned off, never to turn on again. I checked all the connections and buttons over and over, but it wouldn't start. I've only had this a little over a year - hmm, just when the warranty expires, what a coincidence!
This is not the first time a Belkin product has done this, so its my fault for trusting them. But never again will I buy a Belkin product.

Belkin tends to make great surge protectors and this one is no exception. I use this in my bedroom to connect all my electronics including my plasma TV, XBox, Cable Box, 600W Receiver, MultiDisc CD Player, Apple Airport Express, and Motorola Signal Booster. Yes, that's in my bedroom, I'm a geek, and my wife embraces it. Anyways, back to the product. It's got a good warranty, it's sturdy, creative, and lets you use all the ports due to the swivel feature. Highly recommended.Digital camera Review: This Belkin works great

This power bar works fantastic. The swivel plugs are a nice touch, and definitely add space for plugging in various sized electronic plugs. The one touch power button works great for killing the power to all my computer devices easily. Especially handy for extended days away from home. The warning lights are also great. The one indicator light tells you if the power bar has been compromised by a power surge, telling you that it did its' job. I've had no trouble plugging into all the center plugs, contrary to some other reviewers. For the low price offered, and free shipping from Amazon, this power bar ought to be an easy decision to buy.
