This power bar works fantastic. The swivel plugs are a nice touch, and definitely add space for plugging in various sized electronic plugs. The one touch power button works great for killing the power to all my computer devices easily. Especially handy for extended days away from home. The warning lights are also great. The one indicator light tells you if the power bar has been compromised by a power surge, telling you that it did its' job. I've had no trouble plugging into all the center plugs, contrary to some other reviewers. I'm very happy with this surge protector - we've got a television, dvr, dvd player and a Wii hooked into it, plus we're running the cable through it into the television. We've lost a television in the past due to surging, and Florida summers are filled with thunderstorms. Of course, I don't know whether this will really protect in the next thunderstorm especially if there were a direct hit (there's thunder outside as I type this...) but I do expect it will protect against less serious power surges, which do happen on occasion. This gives me peace of mind - especially with the $300,000 connected equipment warranty. Plus, it's a lot neater than my old powerstrip, and a lot more roomy for the larger plugs with adapters built into them. Digital camera Review: Read this before buying this product!

Look at the plug on this surge protector and consider where you will use it before buying it.
My outlet is behind a large bookcase and I need a plug that is as flat as possible so the bookcase can be placed flush with the wall. The plug on this surge protector is not flat, it extends several inches. I had to return it because of that, and gave it 4 stars for that reason. It's really too bad because it's a beautifully designed piece of equipment and I trust the Belkin name.

I use this in my home theater component rack and have 5 components plugged into it. It's been working fine with no problems. When I first got it, I thought it felt a little light. I was expecting something a little heavier. Nevertheless, it seems to do the job. It has more than enough outlets that are spaced adequately apart. Although only time will tell how it holds up, it is designed very well. With the pivoting plugs, it allows plugs that would be useless on other designs accessible & usable. With many electronics having large housings these days, this feature seems essential. Happy so far.
