I've been using the TuneTalk in my 8th grade classroom for several months now and it is a useful way of recording students' reactions or thoughts. I can use those sound clips in PowerPoints or other projects. I'm taking it with us on our class trip to New York next month so kids can record their reactions to what we see - then I can use those soundbites to help prepare NEXT year's kids before THEY go on the same trip.
It is easy to use - not too many bells or whistles and iPods are familiar, non-threatening technology for the students. I'd really recommend TuneTalk for use in a classroom.

I ordered this recorder on Wed night and got it Sat afternoon even during the holiday season!! I started using it right away and it was so easy! I realized though that you can't use the hole on the bottom of the tunetalk for headphones, apparently it is only for a mic, so when you want to listen to your recording you have to take the tunetalk off to plug your headphones into your nano (may be able to have your headphones hooked in while recording if you have the video since it is wider, but the nano's whole bottom of the nano is covered by the tunetalk). I bought this specifically for lectures, small meetings, and conferences. I will update how they work during each.Digital camera Review: Great little item... would be fantastic with small speaker!

This thing works great, and the sound quality is very good. I'm no "sound scientist", but I would certainly be happy with this for podcasting or recording a meeting. A preview speaker would make this perfect.
