This is a very comfortable mousepad. I have wrist problems and this helps alleviate the pain a lot. My only complaint is that I wish it were a bit wider, especially at the base where for some reason they decided to make it narrower.Digital camera Review: Comfortable and a HUGE improvement!

Great mousepad! Puts your wrist on a gel-filled cushion eliminating soreness and pain. I've had this pad for about a year and am buying a new one now. It is about standard size for a mousepad, which might not be large enough for gaming but for everyday web surfing and WPing the Belkin Gel Mouse Pad is made to order. This mouse pad has an indentation in the wrist pad where your hand can rest comfortably while using the mouse. The pad surface is a bit smaller than I am used to but sufficient. It is 8" at its widest part, 6" at its narrowest part and about 7" long. The gel pad is approximately 6.5" by 2.5" and it is about 3/4" thick. The mouse pad itself is fairly thin but appears to be durable. The pad bottom grips the desk surface very well and the mouse glides effortlessly on the pad surface. Overall, I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it. I am using this pad with an optical mouse and have had excellent performance.
