We use this cord to connect our Mac with the entertainment system because we watch a lot of movies online. It's long enough if your computer is close to the entertainment system. The sound quality is great when we watch movies from our computer - it passes through to the subwoofer with the same quality as a DVD directly in the entertainment system. Good quality cord.
