Digital camera reviews of Bluetooth USB 2.0 Micro Adapter DongleDigital camera Review: Bluetooth USB 2 Micro-dongle Summary: 5 Stars
I read a lot of negative reviews about this item. However, it was so cheap even including shipping, it was worth buying anyway.
It arrived speedily and I just plugged it in an unused USB port - and Windows XP-SP3 recognized it and installed a driver. No software to install. I really like the very small form factor.
I enabled Bluetooth on my cell phone, and then double clicked on the Bluetooth icon on the computer screen and found the cell phone. I downloaded a jpeg file I created for my phone graphics.
I far as I can tell, this device works as advertised. I just leave it plugged in all the time.

Shipped fast, was here in about 3 days. New in packaging, VERY small, functional, VERY cheap, software is ok, and range could be better. On the packaging it said it'd work up to 100 meters (300 something feet) it works only about 30 feet. I think its a great buy for the price, works as I thought it would. FYI, If you have an existing bluetooth software or manager installed you may have to uninstall it if you want to use the included software.

This don't pair with anything I have. I'm not the expert on bluetooth but it seems like a simple product to use. This one is going to be a gift for someone I don't like this holiday season.
Digital camera Review: Bluetooth adapter for blackberry connections Summary: 4 Stars
This product works fine. It has reasonable range, but for syncing a phone you have to be near the computer anyway to accept changes so range isn't a problem. Something for blackberry users to keep in mind: Blackberry Desktop Manager only works via bluetooth with the default microsoft drivers. If you install third party, the connection might be better but it just won't work. Other than that, it is simply a matter of plugging it in and letting the OS detect it and setting up the pairing with your device.
Bottom line - if you're only interested in simple pairing such as a phone or keyboard/mouse, this product should work fine. I can't speculate on mp3 players or other products that might need long range pairings.

Finally it worked! Do not install software on Vista. Worked right away after uninstalling packaged software and just used PnP. Everything fired right up.
