This is a great product designed to keep your GPS mounted without having to mess with the winshield method of mounting. It is pretty stable even in rough riding. When I leave my car, I just take the whole thing down and hide it behind the back seat. This mounting pad for a GPS display works really well. It sits neatly on the dashboard and obviates the 'stick it to the windshield' look. It did not budge during a 4000 mi. trek. It does not add an elegant look to the car. It reminds me of those bean-bag ashtrays in use years ago. However, I don't think it would fail... unless you were involved in a crash...at which point, the least of your worries is your GPS system!Digital camera Review: A waste of money

This is a grat product. It doesnt work so good if you have a dash mat on your vehicle but besides that it works really well. I think that it is over priced in stores and found a great price on Amazon. The suction cup holds really well to this. It was allways coming undone on my windsheild.
