After 2 Panasonic fax machines failed, I decided to risk trying something new, not an easy task when you are an "electronically challenged" senior citizen who went kicking and screaming from the typewriter to the computer. I was amazed at how easy it was to set up my Brother IntelliFax 2820. I didn't have to call my geeky son in Atlanta or equally geeky nephew in Sacramento. This machine came out of the box ready to go and, within an incredibly short amount of time, was fully functioning. It's beautiful, efficient and inexpensive. Don't receive too many faxes but fax out a lot. Haven't had a paper jam yet. Every other fax I've had, Panasonic to Canon, have all had a jamming problem with outgoing faxes on the feed.
