Digital camera Review: CH Flight Products- Yoke and Pedals

After getting the yoke and flight pedals, controlling sim aircraft is much easier than with a joystick. Although a joystick with the CH Pro Rudders for helicopters is great as well. The increased tension of the yoke pushing and pulling adds to my percieved realism. I also like the variety of swithes, rockers and the hat, giving more sim control from the yoke. I am not an actual pilot, virtual only, so this is just my perspective. Also, the first yoke that was sent, the hat did not work properly. Amazon shipped me another, which arrived quickly. This flight-yoke is somewhat realistic, but, because it's spring-loaded (not, weight-loaded by pressure on the control-surface), it is not possible to "feel" the airplane off or onto the runway, nor through turns, or climbs... the feel is (always) heavy. Being an amateur with flight simulator I used a Joy Stick, then I heard about CH Products. I purchased this yoke and have never been happier. I received this product in perfect condition, took it out of the box, mounted it on my desk, plugged it into my computer and was flying. I'm very happy with the quality of this product and it has taken me to a new level of flying enjoyment.
I can say nothing bad about this yoke and if I need anymore toys I'm sure I will get them from amazon and CH.

Flight Sim Yoke well worth the purchase.
There are two buttons which need attention:
1)The landing gear switch has to be pushed down to retract the gear...very unrealistic!
2)The paddle switch on the left horn has no function...should be able to fine trim pitch!

I give this 5 stars because it has done everything I thought it would do and more. I am still finding new ways to calibrate and customize the yoke. The doc says I can program up to 23 functions and it doesn't seem to advertise it is that is has a trims wheel as well as 12 programmable buttons (24 if you define one as the <shift> function).
