Digital camera Review: Disappointed. Not straight.
Summary: 3 Stars
These are an excellent idea but are not manufactured in a practical way. The design flaw is that instead of the big 1'x1' chrome wire mesh square being welded to the flat chrome piece that rests on your shelf top, it is welded to the side and NOT at a perfect 45 degree angle so although these are nice and tall, they are nice and crooked. This flaw in design is made worse by the spring action piece that loops around the shelf holding it in place. That part does not extend very far under the shelf. If you have a drill bit that can drill through metal, you can easily screw these dividers into your actual shelf top to make them more stable. Alternatively, you could buy some sort of support bracket to afix the back end to the back wall of your shelf if you have one--thereby positioning it forever straight so it will look better. You could possibly try to bend them straight after you screw them in but they are chromed so it will affect the integrity of the joint somewhat I think. They are a great big eye sore the way they are now at the top of my closet. The intention was to make that area look more orderly. I'm disappointed.
