Bought it for a traveling companion for a recent trip to Japan and it performed perfectly. He owns an iPod touch and was very happy. Two-pronged plug removed the need for an adapter too. Charging is quick, and you can listen to the iPod throughout; much better than charging via a computer. Unless all your accessories must have little apple logos, skip the ridiculously-priced official AC charger and go with this instead.Digital camera Review: Excellent for a charger back-up

Unless I'm downloading new music to my iPod video, I prefer to recharge it using this. It's fast and dependable and it's $28 cheaper than an Apple charger, with both doing exactly the same thing. Also there's an effective lock on the plug insert that keeps in firmly in place as it's charging your unit. Recommended as an excellent value.
