...for about two months. I had to eventually return this item and get a refund. It would still charge my iPod, but the volume wouldn't turn up after those two months.
Don't buy it unless you want a big hassle returning it and searching for another one.

I got this speaker system for my Nano and it works GREAT! I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised at how good the sound was. It can go pretty loud and has very clear sound. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot and wants a good sounding speaker system. The fact that it charges your Ipod is great also.Digital camera Review: Getting Played

I have this CTA speaker for more than a year. I bought it for 25.00 at another site but now even at that site the price has climbed. I don't own an I Pod so I can't speak on that. In an office setting where the volume is rarely tested it works OK not great just OK. Turn up the sound and even soft music gets distorted.(just keep it below full blast) It suits a noisy office just fine. But at more than 70.00 bucks I wouldn't waste my money. It looks cheap and it is cheap. Want to kick it up a notch? Jabra Klipsch Stereo Speaker for Cell Phones and MP3 Players ; S5010 I bought this for my kitchen to get creative with and the sound is amazing. It packs a punch and looks so much more prettier and better constructed.
UPDATE: My adapter broke! I don't Fault the product. But when I went to radio shack to buy another adapter they charged me 25 bucks! Then I remembered I bought this for 25.00 bucks! Hey this item is back in my shopping cart! Not as good as the one I own at home but for work it is just fine. Plus I won't cry if it turns up missing although I don't think I work with folks like that! It's not a poor sound, Just not exceptional. I have owned this for more than year and the speakers still work. At work it is on for at least 6 hours a day. Since it's back at 27.00 I don't see it as a poor purchase. Also I own two creative products and it works just fine with them.

The seller from whom I received this product was very timely, and I received the correct order. However, ths speakers have a tendency to squeak every once in a while. Although this product is not cheap, it isn't expensive either. I guess you get what you pay for, and for that reason, I am happy with my purchase.Digital camera Review: Good buy

I ordered this speaker dock for my husband for Christmas. It was one of least expensive ones I saw and it got really good reviews. The only complaint that I have about it is the the adaptor that came with it for the new iPod Nano does not seem to work. You cannot press the iPod in far enough for it to make a connection with the speaker. To solve this problem, I just don't use an adaptor at all - I plug the iPod directly onto the speaker. This works fine when the speaker is placed on a flat surface where it is not going to be disturbed. I wouldn't recommend doing this if it is in a place where it will be bumped into as the iPod could fall off or be damaged.
