Digital camera Review: Amazingly tiny, no frills, but it works.

This works as advertised- You can connect your micro SD card to your computer via USB with this little device. It's all plastic, smaller than the first joint of my pinky finger, and has no moving parts. It's just a slot, with a USB connector on the other end.
While it does work, and your Micro SD card will show up as any other flash memory device, it does get HOT when it's used for an extended period of time. I used this with an 8GB card, and after filling the card's memory, this gizmo was hot to the touch. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since we're packing so much data into a space smaller than my fingernail, but it's still something you should be aware of when handling it.
Seriously, though, if you have small children or plastic-eating pets around, do not get this. It's so tiny that it could end up in doggie's belly or Jr.'s mouth, nose, or ear pretty easily... Never to be seen again. It's definitely what I'd constitute as a choking hazard for small children; It's tiny enough to stick in the mouth, but just big enough to get lodged in a toddler's trachea.
Normally I wouldn't present such a warning, but this thing is SMALL with a capital 'S', and I just wanted to stress that it's the kind of small that is easily lost.
