Cheap product that did not work. Windows 7 identified it as a unkown controller. No drivers could be found for Windows to successfully recognize the printer. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
You get what you pay for.

I was trying to connect a software dongle which required a parallel port to a new laptop which (of course) doesn't have one. The computer appeared to acknowledge that the port was there, however, the dongle wasn't recognized when plugged in. I tried this with two different programs requiring dongles, and neither one worked. So much for new technology ;-(Digital camera Review: Does NOT Work with MacBooks!

There was no specific mention in the product description whether or not this adapter supported Macs at the time I purchased this cable. Someone provided a customer review that said it worked on their iMac so I felt comfortable buying it. Big mistake! I'm not sure what the other person's Mac configuration was but I can tell you directly after speaking with Cables To Go that this cable adapter does NOT work with Macs!
Hopefully they will correct for this in the product description so other buyers don't have to go through the return hassle like I did.
