I bought this extension to charge an ipad 2 and an ipod touch 3G. The ipad was plugged into a wall outlet using this extension and the charger that comes with the ipad. After 10 hours of charging, it had only increased the charge from 30% to 95%. I removed the extension and used just the apple charger and it only took 30 minutes to charge from 95% to 100%. The ipod won't even recognize the extension. I get the "charging is not supported with this device" message when connected. There is nothing wrong, per se, with the product itself, but if you want to charge newer devices, then be advised that it will take a while to accomplish a full charge.Digital camera Review: Does not work well with usb 2.0

I ordered 2 of these USB extensions.
With USB 2.0 devices (5 devices tested) one cable worked sometimes and the second cable worked rarely.
With USB 1.1/1.0 devices (USB mice and keyboard) both cables worked fine.
Be warned, these are not high speed cables.

Not much to review about this simple an item! Bought it to replace a cheap extension cable that came with my wife's Flipvideo camera. It does the job and was a good price. Does what it's supposed to do. Works great with Belkin USB hub (I bought both together). USPS delivered really quickly. I have attached 2 1 TB each external hard drives and USB speakers (Logitech). I ordered two USB extension cords on a Sunday, chose standard shipping, and received my cables on the following Tuesday, excellent and fast. Both cables are pure white in color, and work great with my USB devices. The end that attaches to the port on the PC is not the larger end of the cable- the larger end is the one to attach to the cable from the device, and should not pose a problem, it is no problem for me, as someone else stated they had a problem with the larger end side. The cables work great and are as I pictured them to be. I can now connect to printers across the room and plan to leave my new cables plugged into the back USB ports on my PC machine, and use the larger end of the cables to connect to the cables from my various printers, HDD, and flash drives, etc.
