Inexpensive and good quality as it anything I have purhased from "Cables To Go". I have several of these cables which provides me extension and placement of peripheral equipment for both desktop and laptop. It is a male to female connection and can be used with any standard USB connection. Remember if it doesn't meet your needs you can return it and amazon with provide you with the shipping label online to send it back as they do with any of the items you order and most have 14-30 days for such return. I use four of these connected together to operate a DDR mat from my office computer to my living room TV, and it works great!
