This cable works great. The connector is well made and it can be easily inserted and removed. The sound level is controlled entirely by the sound equipment and not the ipod volume control and that is a good thing. The only negative thing is that you won't be able to leave the earphones connected to your ipod if you want to use this cable - The earphone jack on the ipod will eventually break by repetitive stress caused by constant insertion and removal.Digital camera Review: Great addition to My Cooper

This adapter plays my iPod so much clearer than the FM transmitter. I only wish I could control the power of my iPod as well. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this cable. The sound quality via this connection to the Aux in on my Chevy Impala is the best that it can get. Just got a new Acura TSX that has the little outlet for an AUX input cable, otherwise known as the "headphone connector thingy". I was going to get the doule headphones connector to plug into the car and connect to the headphones jack on my pink nano (the newest one, 2G maybe?). However, I came across this, thankfully, and decided to try it out. Works great! Agreed that the color really would be better in black or dark grey at least (why it's 4 instead of 5 stars), but white isn't terrible. Cord is good in length - not too short or too long. Seems very durable. True, that it doesn't charge, but not a biggie. This price is really, really good! Other cables not even as nice as this at Best Buy and such are double the price. Keep in mind I didn't try the double headphone jack cord, but I doubt it'll keep me up at night because the sound is just fine with this thing. I bought this for my new '08 Altima. The Bass and treble response was definitely boosted when this wire was used. Unfortunately, I started to hear tons of static on the highs. To the point where it ruined the whole concept of this wire. I'm back to using just a regular 35mm wire now. So for this type application, I wouldn't suggest this wire.
