Digital camera Review: $60 for DMI CABLE???? NOT HERE!!
Summary: 5 Stars

While purchasing many electronic toys this year and watching a lot of TV Shopping Networks salesmen touting how the DMI cable was INCLUDED! A VALUE of $60! and getting one item with said cable included I was wary of purchasing this item at such a low price but figured Amazon would stand behind it... BOY was I glad I DID!!!!! where previously I had a bundle of wires and having to remove and insert up to 9 different connections to use my LD, DVR, and BLUE RAY, Now I just go to the menu screen on my TV and SWITCHEROO!! These cables perform absolutely no differently than the one that already had! They did look a little less glamorous but NO DIFFERENCE in performance whatsoever! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. SAVE your BUCKS to buy more toys!!

Digital camera Review: A Cable to last, without a MONSTERous price

Greetings,

It is easy to be intimidated when selecting a cable, because most are either generic (and really can have iffy quality), or MONSTERously overpriced. You don't want to overspend, but at the same time you do want to get the maximum enjoyment from your systems, as well as minimize any potential for damaging $5000 LCD tvs and the like.

Despite its generic-sounding name, Cables to Go has been in business for many years; its New York store is known by every IT person in the tri-state area for its longstanding reputation for high quality and service. This is not a generic, no-name cable: it is a quality, fairly priced cable. In addition, the fact that Amazon sells this directly, minimizing shipping charges, is great.

As for its performance, I have a standard HDTV with a Tivo box, a DVD player (not Blu-Ray) which requires HDMI for the upconvert function, and a home theatre. No problems at all, no apparent difference between the Cables-to-Go product and the Monster cable for 8x more money.

Digital camera Review: A good cable!

Well, there's really not much to review with a cable like this, but here's the gist of it: This is a quality HDMI cable. It passes the signal from source to display flawlessly. Of course, being digital cable, there's no real variation in quality: It either works or it doesn't. This isn't like analog cable that can degrade the signal with cheaper parts. If the signal passes through a digital cable like this, and the image shows up on the screen, it's a good cable.

This is a good cable. The design is nice. It looks good, fits well, and seems solid enough. The price is decent, and the length is handy. You needn't bother with Monster Cables, because Cables To Go's HDMI cable will give the same quality for a far better price. Don't get the "premium" cables from Best Buy, either... They're a total rip-off. Get this one! Same quality. MUCH better price!

What else can I say? If you're looking for HDMI cables online, this is a good choice and you probably know what you're looking for; You were already smart enough not to buy from a brick & mortar store at their inflated prices. Congratulations! You've found the right cable for the job!

No complaints here. This is what I expected and it works great.

Digital camera Review: A quality cable... with the features I needed
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
As several other reviewers have stated, this HDMI cable is v1.3 compliant. I have used these cables in the past and I can tell by experience they are great. I got a PS3 last year and have used it since to watch Blurays and of course, play video games. I originally got a Sony HDMI cable under the impression that the brand would make a difference in the quality.

When I needed a replacement and did some more research I found that regardless of the brand (and price), any HDMI cable will offer the same quality as others have pointed out.I could tell when I replaced my original Sony cable with this one and saw no difference.

Important to note though, I am using it for video only. Since I decided to wall mount my LCD display I found myself needing a longer cable and this one just did the trick. I can't really speak about passing audio through it since my receiver does not support HDMI (planning on upgrading it soon).

The grey design is nice and as the product description states, connectors are 24 karat gold plated. Long cable, great quality and great price. I would not hesitate to recommend these.

Digital camera Review: Appears to work flawlessly

I have only two HMDI cables. The other is a Radio Shack brand that costs 3-4x more. There is no apparent functional (i.e., flexibility of the cable; fitting) or performance (i.e., image and sound quality) difference.
