For the Amazon price of under $10 (and as eligible for FREE shipping when combined with other items totalling $25) this HDMI cable represents good value. It has a thick rubberized grip which makes it easier to hold and gold-plated connector, which makes it resistant to oxidation. The 8' length gives a bit more flexibility over shorter lengths while still being manageable. While some people complain about the overall design of HDMI connectors as being too flimsy, I have never had a problem with any of mine. What's more, with either a multiple-input HDMI receiver or an HDMI switch box you should never have to plug and unplug this connector, so it should last the lifetime of your components. As other people have mentioned don't waste your money on Monster-priced cables. My only quibble would be the inflated "list" price listed by Amazon, making you think you are getting a fabulous 81% discount deal.Digital camera Review: Good, solid cable.

This is a great cable. It has a solid build quality and the moulded connectors on the ends are not at all flimsy, as well as nicely rounded which reduces snagging when I'm pulling it through my nest of cables in my entertainment system. Picture and sound quality is fantastic, same as other HDMI cables I've used.
Good price, fast shipping, great product. Nothing more to say!

Having had friends that worked at the major electronics outlets (such as the Blue and Gold Store), I was told that these stores make a "killing" off of extended warranty and cables. With a few exceptions, it is usually not wise to pay for the "name brand" cables.
I purchased these and the quality on my HD TV is great. The Cable didn't come in any fancy packaging. Just in a simple plastic bag. But it is in perfect condition, wiht the ends protected with plastic caps. The Cable it self feels heavy and NOT flimsy and cheap.
I am by no means a visual expert, but neither is the majority of the population. If you want to be able to see the scars on your favorite actor's face or each drop of sweat dripping off of your favorite athlete's face, this cord does the trick. I love it.
