I have been using these cables for a while now and I have to say they work great.
I bought a 3 way splitter(from amazon of course) so I would not have to keep switching my cords between my T.V., Playstation 2, and Xbox 360. The ends of optical cords come with plastic caps for a reason and I felt that if I didn't get a splitter that I would end up wreaking the cord I got with my Turtle beach X4 headphones.
Now the cable that came with my headphones worked great between the devices I onwed, but When it came time to buy the splitter I knew I would need 3 more cords. Also I didn't want to buy more from Turtle Beach as there cable is a little flimsy and when bought individually over priced at $10 on there web site. At that cost I figured I might as well buy the overpriced cables at Wal-mart (Beleave me I know, I work there). Plus after getting the splitter I learned that the Turtle beach cables did not stay in the splitter. (it pops out all the time). It was obveusly made to only fit the 360 and I was lucky it stays in place when used with my tv and playstation 2.
Anyway, As ushual I checked the reviews on amazon before buying anything, I found that these cables where at a decent price and did not suffer from not fitting in place like meny of the other cheep cables I read about here.
When I used these cables, I found the reviews where right. They stayed in my splitter, game councils, and T.V. with out a problems. Plus, they have a decent coating around them, making them much more study then a lot of the other cheep cables I read about. Not to mention they are just under 5 bucks, much better priced then most of the retail stores out there.
Bottom line, this is a decent cable that will stay in most anything that I have tested it with, while not being overpriced. The best balance I think can be found between quality and price when it comes to these cables. I highly recommend this product and will certinly buy again if I ever need more cords.

Can't go wrong with this one because, if you get a defective one you will know immediately and, Amazon will replace it for free. If it works the first time you tried it, chances are it will last forever. I am still using one optical cable I bought more than 10 years ago.
