Digital camera Review: Now I want more
Summary: 5 Stars

This connects my TV into my HTIB, now I can watch TV series with all its glory (Dolby surround is great!!!)

Digital camera Review: Optical cable home run
Summary: 5 Stars

Very inexpensive optical digital audio cable. Full retail price $25 apiece at your local store. Eight feet is nice length, too. Hard to find at retail stores. Tremendous bargain, worked fine.

Digital camera Review: Optical is the way to go!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This premium (Toslink) cable carries the digital signals from my DVD recorders and/or my HDTV to my AR Dolby Digital wireless surround headphones with great clarity. One never has to worry about distortion or interference that can cause audible problems with an RF cable.

Highly recommended for anyone with a digital connection. Also, 8 feet is just about optimum for most systems as some are only 6 feet and do not reach from my audio tower to the main system.

Digital camera Review: Standard cable, perfect performance
Summary: 5 Stars

This little cable fits all standard home theater equipment with ports for digital audio signals over optical cable. There is no need to buy the more expensive cables. This little gem does the job perfectly.

Digital camera Review: Terrific value if you need an optical cable for your A/V setup

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
As others have noted, optic fiber either works or it doesn't - if it doesn't work, it means you have a defective one. This cable is a great deal - its 8 foot length should be more than adequate to hook up your DVD (say) to your receiver (if you have them by each other in a cabinet, like me), or possibly to reach from a player situated further from your rack (i once had to toslink up two shorter cables to do that; this lengthy cable would've solved that problem). Considering that i once paid around $40 for a similar cable about 10 years ago, when they were a relatively novel addition to my early-adoption of DVD, this cable is a steal at this price. If you are able to go with optical for your audio needs, then by all means, do so (in lieu of wire).
