Cable is great. But first recommendation to purchasers is to verify what you really need. It wasn't expensive so it's not a big deal that I didn't need it after all. Not yet anyway. I was able to use an s-video cable that came with my DVD player. I should have waited to buy anything extra like a cable. I bought it "just in case". I'll wait next time.
