Digital camera Review: $40 cheaper than the local alternative

I sent my wife out to local department stores to pick me up a DVI-D to HDMI cable for my Comcast Explorer 8000 HD. She called me enraged because she couldn't find one under $50. I checked Amazon and saw this cable.
For $40 less.
On top of this, as other reviewers mentioned, this is a digital cable. Either it works or it doesn't, there is no gray area. And yes, the cable works beautifully.
The one con: the DVI-D plug uses metal that is a bit too soft, so it is easy to bend the pins. Also, the shield that goes around the pins is so thin that it may not fit when you try to plug it into the socket. All you have to do is use a pair of pliers and shape it, it is soft metal and you won't compromise the plug. Once inserted, it will take the right shape.
For less than $14, I am thrilled, and Comcast HD looks awesome.
