Digital camera reviews of Cables Unlimited PCM-2296-06 HDMI to DVI D Cable, 6 feetDigital camera Review: Excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
I use this cable to connect my Desktop with My LCD TV with HDTV.It look great.
Digital camera Review: Excellent quality for the price Summary: 4 Stars
I cannot find a single complaint about this cable. It does exactly what I purchased it for and it does it well. I am currently using it to connect one of my PCs running a DVI video card through my HDMI plasma screen at 1280x720 res and it looks beautiful. Cable length is great and no issues with loose connections on either end. Only reason I did not give this item five stars is because I am sure there are higher quality cables out there, but that does not mean this cable won't suit your needs.
Digital camera Review: Fast, Easy, and Cheap Summary: 5 Stars
Great product. I went to Best Buy to find a similar cable and it was $60.00. I bought the cable on amazon for $12 and it arrived in two days.
Digital camera Review: Feels cheap, quality just ok Summary: 2 Stars
I have purchased other items from Cables Unlimited and am mostly very happy with my purchases. I am a firm believer in not paying more than you have to for cables, and overpriced cables are nothing but a rip off. However this cable was a disappointment.
The plastic feels cheap and britle, and the signal quality was worse than that of VGA. I compared a VGA connection to this connection using a top of the line PC with a high end video card, on a 46" 1080p LCD tv. The HDMI signal was awful, whereas the VGA was crystal clear.
I do not recommend this cable.
Digital camera Review: Fine, cheap cable Summary: 4 Stars
Before I had this cable, I used a cheap DVI cable with a DVI-to-HDMI adapter on the end, meaning I had about 6 inches of stuff, weighing significantly, hanging off the back of my TV and putting pressure on the HDMI jack. I bought this cable instead, and it works exactly as advertised, and more cheaply.
One quibble is that one of the thumbscrews for the DVI end wouldn't screw into the back of my Mac Mini. I don't know if it was the screw on the cable or the hole on back of the Mac, but it really shouldn't matter as long as I'm not moving things around.
