I purchased these as a Lightening deal for $7.99 - knowing that we would be purchasing at LEAST on Blu-Ray Player for Christmas. My husband gave me so much grief "don't you know all electronics come with the proper cables now?".
Take that! The two Blu-Ray players my husband did purchase did NOT come with cables, nor did the cheap LCD TV we bought. My crappy cables saved the day & they have worked great!
Thank you Amazon for helping me prove to my family that Mom is not so dumb after all!

the cables look like heavy duty -- too heavy you might say. I can't plug them into my tv on the side. The insulation or rubber on the cables are too thick. But they do work for the one HDMI on the back of the TV.
