Digital camera reviews of Canon 2344A001 E1 Hand Strap for Eos Rebel SeriesDigital camera Review: Great Accessory Summary: 4 Stars
I love the hand strap, but can't figure out how to make room to keep a neck strap on the camera at the same time. It's great for a tiring hand at the end of an 8 hour wedding, though!
Digital camera Review: Great Strap for the Money. Summary: 5 Stars
I hate neck straps. Love this item. As others have said, a little confusing to put on but the diagram posted in the pictures section is excellent. Obviously you have the have the battery grip. Worth the money.
Digital camera Review: Great Strap, takes some getting use to. Summary: 5 Stars
I got this strap for Christmas because I was always wrapping the neck strap around my hand to take pictures. I have noticed that by having it wresting on your hand rather than in it, you have a lot more control and less shake. This hand strap makes this so much better! I will say though, that it does take some getting use to in your hand. It sets your hand a little awkward for the jog wheel but I noticed that by keeping it loose, you have a little more control without loosing stability. Definitely worth the money if you like to take pictures with long exposures. Like the other reviews said, you have to either have a BIG camera or the battery grip. Definitely read the directions online on how to strap it to the camera because it's nearly impossible otherwise. I also attached the neck strap to the hand strap which makes it very versatile and I didn't have to loose the neck strap for the hand strap. Overall, great product and the quality is exactly what you would expect from Canon, amazing.
Digital camera Review: Great add-on for extra battery pack. Summary: 5 Stars
I use this handstrap with my 20D when I have the extra battery pack attached and it's great.
Highly recommended.
Digital camera Review: Great if you keep your BG on the Camera Body at all times! Summary: 4 Stars
This strap has great quality and gives you a great feeling of a secure grip on your camera. Unfortunately it can only be used with the Battery Grip installed ( it's a chore to put on and take off)and I travel with my camera gear in a Pelican 1510 carry-on case that requires I disassemble my equipment into components in order to accomodate all the gear.
If you plan on having the BG on at all times I highly recommend this stap.
