I bought this to charge our video camera batteries. Charging them while attached to the camera took as long as uncharging them (a 4 hour battery took 4 hours to charge). This charge cuts that in half. Small enough to fit easily in the camera bag and just plugs into a socket. Fast and easy.Digital camera Review: A good charger

I've been wanting this charger for a while now, because my Canon video camera doesn't charge the battery unless I have the camera plugged in AND powered off -- unlike a cell phone or other devices that you can still use while they're being charged up. One nice feature is that the plug folds into the charger, so you can store it flat in a bag. Not a lot else to say about it (since it's a pretty basic device) other than it works and it's convenient. The battery that comes with the Canon HG20 is okay. This battery does give me a lot more hours to play with. The only thing that I don't like is that it is a bit expensive. If you are going on a vacation or something like that then I do recommend getting this battery since it holds more power for longer recording time.Digital camera Review: Battered by canon

Hey Its a battery charger; what can you say. Well it is super compact and light, charges super quickly and 120-240v perfect for travelling. Pity canon don't include it with their cameras
