I'm using this product with my Canon i900D photo printer. I'm thrilled beyond words with the quality, the output (and lack of quickly drying up) that this cartridge offers. Per a prior experience (and recommendations of others), I wouldn't recommend the cheaper clone cartridge makers. Stick with this product, both for your warranty's sake, as well as minimizing your frustration level. I currently have a Canon i960, but I've learned over the years never substitute generic inks no matter what the advertisement says. Only Canon inks give me the quality I want and don't ruin the printer. I do a lot of color prints to use as references in my art work, and contrary to what others may say, the inks last a long time and are well worth the expense for me.Digital camera Review: The price was right for genuine Canon ink

I am a low volume user and don't see any upside to using ink from manufacturers I don't know. A couple of bucks a year just isn't worth it. I have bought a number of Canon ink cartridges and never had a problem.

It's ink. It makes pictures. It goes in my printer. I don't really know what else to say. It tastes a lot better than the generic version too.
