Digital camera reviews of Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG for Canon EOS SLR Cameras (Black with Green Accent)Digital camera Review: A good value Summary: 4 Stars
I like this bag for the money. It's a little tight where the camera body goes as the body of the bag gets tight at the top. I have the Canon 40D with the battery pack and it just fits. All-n-all most bang for the buck in a camera back pack.
Digital camera Review: A good, sizable bag for multi-lens shooters Summary: 4 Stars
Canon's backpack is a good deal, inexpensive and sturdy. It fits my 30D camera, along with a 100mm macro lens, a 10-22mm and a 17-85mm, plus Canons 430EX flash, a battery attachement, and has room for 2-3 more lenses in the main compartment besides. There are various additional pockets for accessories, manuals and lots of stuff if you're going out into the woods for a shoot.
The minor things I don't like about it include 1) the webbing, which is "designed to hold a light jacket" (they could have left that off or made it into another pouch so the laces didn't get in the way), and 2) the straps on the sides and bottom for attaching tripods, monopods, etc. can't be pulled up and mad neater when not in use. They tend to dangle and look messy. I may simply cut my off, but Canon should have designed a system to tighten them down or remove them when not in use.
That said, it's a great bag, is comfortable and can take just about all your gear out on the road, out in the forest or on the lake, or travelling the world. The price is right for such a roomy bag with good padding. Better than anything I've yet found from Tamarac or any other manufacturer to date.
Digital camera Review: A great bag Summary: 5 Stars
I humped this thing around DC last week for 7 hours, and not a worry to mention. Well balanced, I had it full of a camera, 4 lenses, flash and miscellany. I cut all the extra straps off, and just have the shoulder harness left. And it looks good too. Of course, it's a great advertisement for thieves so never let it out of your grip.
Digital camera Review: A great bag for the 'stuff' Summary: 5 Stars
This pack is really a great option for anyone wanting to be mobile. It has lots of places for lenses, and extra things. Though its not huge, it will give you ample breathing rooom. The quality of the material of the pack was surprisingly good. And it looks really well made. Best thing about it is, just throw it over your shoulder and go. Lots of external ties for tripod and such too. And I feel confident that my 20d is well protected. This is a must have for the mobile photographer with a moderate set of equipment, or anyone that just wants the stuff easy to carry around.
Digital camera Review: A great small bag Summary: 5 Stars
I use this bag to carry my camera, flash, gorilla pod, and accessories. The multiple pockets make it easy to carry extra batteries and memory cards. It's comfortable enough to wear all day. I have worn it for long walks on a hot beach and it protected my gear without being too hot. This is a small bag, I can carry my iPad in the front pocket, but there is no room for a laptop.
