This is a great camera that has met all of our needs. It actually makes taking pictures fun! Our main concern was finding a camera that actually took the picture immediately after pressing the button as our old camera was slow and we kept missing the good shot of our kids smiling. But not only did we get that feature, we also found lots of other nice things about it. We love the auto rotate feature when reviewing the images and the image stabilizer works great! I actually took it on a bouncy castle and got great shots. The menu on the camera is also easy to use and we picked it up right away.Digital camera Review: A must for your investment

No need to purchase everything separately! This kit has it all. Genuine canon case, battery, and neck strap. The case fits my SD700 perfectly. It has a hard insulation, very sturdy but yet looks elegant with the leather covering. The cover snaps nicely, there is a hole at the top of the cover to feed the wrist strap through (there is also a matching wrist strap that comes with the case if you choose to use this one other than the wrist strap that comes with the camera). Please be aware the case only has room for the camera and no room for extra batteries or cards.
Canon knows how to accessorize their cameras! It's a no brainer to purchase this accessory kit when purchasing a PowerShot SD series camera.

I found the case to be a very tight fit and wondered whether it was somehow damaging the camera (probably not the case, but was uncomfortable cramming it in and extracting it). It also added considerably to the bulk so that the ease of carrying around this elegant camera was cancelled out. I'm not a camera beltwearer, so that feature means nothing to me. I will explore the Target option suggested by another reviewer. If nothing else is available, I'll look for some kind of pouch. The main thing, as I see it, is protecting the screen, and a pouch might do the trick.
