Great battery. Fully charged it's good for about 250 pictures before it gives out. I've taken up to 300 shots with this, when not using the zoom or playback camera features; and as few as 150 when using a lot of zoom or playback. Takes about an hour to fully recharge when totally depleted. Very compact, easy to carry an extra in your pocket. Check for a good price. I needed a new battery after three years of using my Canon Powershot SD400 camera. I had previously never had problems with the battery until recently. Once I put the new battery in the camera it worked fine again. I decided to go with the canon battery as I had heard a lot negative things with the generic brands. Pricing through amazon was cheaper than the brick and mortar stores. However the huge negative was how long it took for battery to arrive. It was shipped from a warehouse literally fifty miles from my home and took a full week to arrive. I could have drove to the warehouse and picked it up in a matter of hours. Battery is advertised as a "brand name", i.e., Cannon NB-4L Battery Pack. The product received is not labeled by any manufacturer and specifically states "Replacement for NB-4L. I suggest that this is misleading advertising if this is not the original product as specified.
To date the product has performed to my satisfaction. I was simply disappointed with the integrity of the transaction.
