Canon printer cartridges are just ridiculously expensive! It's a real racket that Canon has going, but at least there was some relief in buying these cartridges through Amazon. I spent a lot of time trying to find new cartridges and these were by far the best price. My wife and I have stopped buying "generic" ink refills. We haven't had good luck with them. Our Pixma MP 500 certainly seems to be aging better. And Amazon offers the best price we've found.
