Digital camera Review: Ahh its ok..Had a bad print head

It seams good. However I got mine opened it up got it all set up and then it would not put ink on the paper. Cannon phone support was really bad waited about an hour on hold before I could talk to someone. Ended up having to take it to a repair place here in town. Found out it had a bad print head. They told me that they have scene this before with this model. Wish I would have known. It is under warranty so it will not cost me to get it fixed however I ordered this printer a month ago and still have not got to use it. Should be early next week I can get it back. I have nothing bad to say about this printer. It meets all the expectations set by the advertisement. It does the same amount of work as one of the larger all-in-ones in a much smaller package, so I don't know why you WOULDN'T want this model instead.Digital camera Review: All in one printer

It sure looks nice but...I ended up having to get an IT person to make it work for me.
The reason I purchased this item is that my husband has had wonderful things to say about Canon printers and the ability to work with a Mac. That being said, neither of us could get this All in one to communicate with the MacBook. We are both tech savvy people yet this item was problematic. Maybe with a PC it would communicate well, but not so for a Mac. I can only hope that it prints consistently well.
I really would NOT recommend this unit.

I've had this printer for several months now, and I am very impressed with how "clever" this machine is. Tons of great features, but I'm using the basics mostly, and happy with it. Thanks to discussion threads, setting it up with both PC and Mac was very easy.
Not sure about the cost of ink per page, because I have not changed the cartridge yet. Which could be a good sign - after two month of a moderate use.

I bought this printer as an accessory to my home office for work. It does everything I want it to do, and more! It connected wirelessly to my iMac running Snow Leopard nearly immediately with the enclosed software, and has a nice clean and exact print! Also, the APP from iTunes allows me to print wirelessly from my iPhone4. Great printer, amazing value (considering I saw the same printer at BestBuy for nearly double the price!). Love it!
