I bought this printer TWO DAYS ago and gave a $100 for it. Today I can buy it for $85...and Amazon won't do a thing about it except laugh all the way to the bank. I've owned quite a few printers in my day. This one is definitely forgettable. The sluggishness in creation of a print outcome, and fair colors to pictures printed using normal settings (Vista) make me less likely to purchase again from Canon.
Wireless set-up was hopeless and I'm an advanced, not expert, computer user. Most recently I had bought a Dell printer which also surprisingly had wireless set-up failures.
If you're reading this and shopping, try the newest Dell V313 which I purchased for my GF: worked better than its predecessor and around the same price.

A fairly decent printer for the price but it sucks down ink like you wouldn't believe. Right now, I have 4 cartridges ready and waiting to replace the ones inside the printer. It got so expensive to keep buying Canon's cartridges, that I am trying different suppliers to find something more economical.
The print quality is ok, the printer is NOISY, and definitly _not_ the fastest printer on the market.
When this one breaks (which I know it will) I will not buy another one like it.

There was no hesitation in my mind when I bought this printer since I already own quite a few Canon products. As expected, it is fantastic. The setup is really easy and less time consuming. Even a non tech savvy guy can set it up along with wireless etc. I kind of like the functionality they have put into the small LCD screen on the printer. Quick and easy selections, and equally quick and good quality printouts/copies. Pretty good value for money. Just love the photographs it prints on photo-paper! Superb image processing techniques for getting the best out of your picture. And all this for a really cheap price. I would surely recommend this product to anyone who cares for the quality of prints and wants a wire free environment. Good going Canon.Digital camera Review: Another happy customer

After reading all the other reviews I figured this would suit my needs for a small business operated from home. It took my hubby around 30 minutes to set it up and then it was working like magic. Great product, great price. There are no returns so I had to take a chance with the product but it was well worth it.
