Digital camera reviews of Canon PIXMA iP6700D Photo Printer (1441B002)Digital camera Review: Canon Pixma 6700D printer Summary: 5 Stars
I have had several printers over the last five years, but this # 6700D printer" IS THE BEST"! It is very quite during the printing process; User friendly; Easy to load print paper and photo paper; Can fit in a small space
19"deep and 17" wide ( This is with feeding and capture trays extended ). Shifts from photo paper to legal size print paper smoothly. Ink supply cartridges are easy to replace---NOT MESSY! The pop up screen, that I thought I would never need, I find I use it all the time and I don't know what I'd do without it!
Digital camera Review: Canon Pixma great choice. Summary: 5 Stars
Recently, after researching several types of printers, cost of ink, and photo capabilities, I wavered between this printer and the HP Photo printer. What helped me make my decision was the individual inks, 5, for this printer. Some have all colors in one cartridge and that seemed wasteful if only one color became low. The HP I was looking at, had come out with tanks so that it was individual also, but I thought the print quality was rated very high on the Canon Pixma. My choice has turned out to be very satisfactory for me. The printer is the quietest I have ever seen, very fast, photos are completed very quickly and the color is just great. The photo paper is excellent and I compared it to stock that was being used in some I had sent away for and judged color and thickness of photo paper was improved. I have a 35mm camera which I had disks from, and having these on the Windows XP computer, I made beautiful prints. I was very pleased with normal printing and feel that I made a very good choice. I would certainly recommend the product based on the period of time I have used it.
Digital camera Review: Canon Pixma iP6700D Summary: 4 Stars
So far I like this photo printer. I really like the fact that you only have to change the color cartridge thats empty, that saves a lot of money. I also like having an individual area for holding smaller/different size photo paper. I am also pleasantly surprised with the text printing quality as I read several reviews before buying and the marks were low on text printing. I purchased the Canon anyway because I have another printer for text/fax/scan/etc. and wanted this Canon for photo printing. I only rated a 4 because I have limited knowledge of photo printers and don't know if there is a better quality printer out there, but I am very happy with my results so far.
Digital camera Review: Canon Pixma iP6700D printer WOW! AWESOME! Summary: 5 Stars
I am very in to printing photos, and I like decent quality in them. I had a Canon S900 printer, which was top of the line when I bought it a few years ago. It recently died on me, and I had to decide if it was worth getting fixed, or should I just look for another one. I started researching online and discovered the price of good photo printers has gone way down since the last one I bought. After reading reviews, I decided on this one. I have not been sorry. THIS PRINTER IS AWESOME~ For the first time, I am printing 4 x 6's directly, rather than arranging photos on an 8 x 10 sheet and printing that way. I printed out several photos that I had already had a lab print for me (Kodak) and side by side, you could not tell them apart. In fact, I think mine were actually truer colors than the lab ones. The software that comes with it is amazing, and very user friendly. I was scrapbooking and wanted some small photos, and discovered I could get 4 of them on a 4 x 6 paper that came out exactly as I'd hoped. I'm using Canon paper now instead of Kodak, and there is a difference when you use the brand of paper that goes with the printer. My old printer produced a sort of "flat" glossy, that you could immediately tell by sight and feel was not done in a lab. You cannot tell in any way that photos done on this printer weren't done in a lab. I am an amateur photographer, and I'm sure the more serious or professional photographers would want more than this, but for the home user who wants something that will really do a great job for under $150, this is it. It's very intuitive in using it, and the instruction booklet is clear enough that even I could understand it. I can't imagine a better printer for the money....or for a lot more money even. This is a keeper!
Digital camera Review: Canon Printer Summary: 4 Stars
Have been using this printer for one month now and don't have any complaints or buyer's remorse. It prints beautiful pictures in a fraction of the time my old Epson performed. I've only used it for pix so can't rate it on text or graphics printing but imagine it will perform great there, too. All in all, a really good printer for the price.
