good things about this case:
- I found this the camera case is good to store the camera when you are carrying the phone outdoors or carrying in a bag or suitcase. As the case is made of hard surface and your camera is safe in the case.
- Fits well.
- Easy to open and close. You can get the camera out in seconds.
not so good...
- My older camera was bulky. I bought Canon SD 1100 so that I can hold and carry phone in my pocket easily. But with this hard case it is not possible to carry the camera in the pocket.
Digital camera Review: Great Case, but the strap doesn't fit

The case itself is pretty and it fits the camera nicely. However, you can't put the strap (of the camera) through the little hole at the top while you use it because it's too small. i.e. it gets stuck, so you can't pull your camera out. I just use mine with the strap just hanging from the side, but sometimes that gets annoying because when you pull out your camera to take pictures, you have to hold the case separately instead of hanging it off with the camera strap.Digital camera Review: Great Leather Case

I bought this case for my wifes camera and I was worried that she would be upset that I didn't buy the cheaper non-canon case. But when she saw the quality of the case plus how the camera case fit over the camera exactly she was very happy.
The only draw back is the magnets inside the leather camera case grab paper clips from inside her purse.
