"holster". The camera fits snugly but can be drawn and used quickly. There is a small zippered pocket for batteries or a memory card. Attractive, typical Canon high quality fabric.

Very nice Camera case. The camera itself fits wonderfully into it and the case does keep it safe from everyday banging around. I just leave the camera cord hanging outside the bag and use that to carry the camera and case around since the case only comes with a belt loop and I don't wear a belt.
