Digital camera reviews of Canon PowerShot A630 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical ZoomDigital camera Review: A very good camera Summary: 5 Stars
I own this one, and had an A620 before.
Very good image quality and controls. Excellent battery life. of course , it is a bit pn the bulky side, so large pockets or a camera case are useful (mine lives in my backpack).
The rotating screen on the back is priceless, as it allows for inconspicuous shooting of subjects who resent being photographed.
Digital camera Review: A very handy camera Summary: 4 Stars
We had an A75 so the A630 was an upgrade for us. The A630 is everything we needed and more. The ONLY short coming we've encountered so far is the lack of photo quality in low light situations.
Digital camera Review: A630 - Good all around camera Summary: 5 Stars
This is a nice camera for the beginner to the advance user. I'm not a tall person, so in a crowd, it nice to be able to reach up with the camera above my head to take photos and actually see the screen. The one thing I would like, but this camera does not has this capability, is image stabilization but for the price, you can't beat it. An ISO above 800 would be nice and so would having RAW but then again, it would drive the price up. It's a great point and shoot camera. Don't recommending buying the Canon recommended Power Shot case as it is a tight fit and is just barely able to close. Don't know what Canon thinking when they recommended the Power Shot Case.
Digital camera Review: A630 was a breeze to use Summary: 5 Stars
My new A630 was great to use. The tilt view screen came in handy when I held my camera above the crowd to get a picture of Pope Benedict at the public audience in Vatican city on my vacation. Camera was ease to use. Pictures came out great.
Digital camera Review: AMAZING!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely love this camera. I bought it after having an HP for about a year or so before it was stolen. This Canon replaced that, and I am kind of glad the HP was stolen. hehehe This Canon has amazing features, so if I want to do creative photography, I can... and if I want to do snapshot shooting, that is easy as well. I got this camera about 2-3 weeks ago, and I'm still getting used to all of the features, but I am not complaining. Also, I've used the camera almost everyday since then, and the factory batteries are just dying now. Not too shabby, eh? :-D
