I LOVE THIS CAMERA!
I am currently traveling in Central America and doing a lot of water activities - this camera is perfect for all of them. Not only do I not fear it breaking because it is super durable, but it also takes really great pictures, with so many picture settings to choose from. I am sending home my DSLR and just using this camera!

this was great. i was sooo worried reading those reviews about leaking and stuff, but ive used my d10 about 5 times in the water so far-salt and fresh- and it has worked flawlessly. it has great picture quality (and movie too!) and is alot smaller and more portable than i expected. great camera!Digital camera Review: Adventure Camera

I really like this little camera but it does have a few minor flaws. When in wet environment the lens with reflect light and you don't realize it until you can enlarge picture and or see it not in full sun. We were Kyaking and got several badly fogged pictures. We have used this camera on all of our adventure vacations and it has not failed us once. We are very pleased with the durability we have tested it with our rough and tumble 14 year old who takes it on ski trips to document his areal 360s as well as our dives into Mexican Cenotes. We also used it on a kayaking trip in Alaska to film the bow plowing through the glacial melt. He testifies that the camera is really good at capturing action shots even with fast movement. Having gone through about 4 Cannon cameras prior, and pleased with the shot taking, but not so pleased with durability, this Camera has hit a sweet spot for us. The only drawback is it does not take AA batteries so if you run out of juice in the outback you are SOL.Digital camera Review: Adventure pics
