Digital camera reviews of Canon PowerShot SD1200IS 10 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Blue)

Digital camera Review: Canon PowerShot SD1200IS
Summary: 5 Stars

For my level this camera is great. I've had a canon SureShot 35mm for decades and it still takes great pics so I stuck with that brand to go digital. I wanted the traditional view finder on any digital I would get and that's the case with the Canons. I also consider reports from "Consumer Reports" magazine. So I'm pleased.

Digital camera Review: Canon PowerShot: Good gift for wife
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this product for several reasons:
1. My wife wanted another digital camera that did better at charging up between pictures - faster. This one does.
2. It had to be small so she can carry it in her purse. This one is very easy to tuck into a purse.
3. My wife also wanted increased picture quality. The 10MP is over double what we already had, and is great.
4. My wife likes the color (blue), but for some reason picking any other color cost more.Still, it meets her needs.
5. She has not had it long enough to see, but so far battery life seems to be okay. Still on the first charge.
6. We wanted an easier picture transfer approach, but this one still uses that little docking station - not so good. My old camera just uses a simple USB cable to the PC. Much better when traveling because you don't have to carry all that other stuff.
7. It sure would be great to get a camera that charges by plugging into the USB port on a PC, but I haven't found one yet (including this camera). It requires taking the battery out and putting in a charge station (also extra stuff to carry when you travel).

Overall, I am happy with this purchase becaue my wife is happy - sort of the point on this one!

Digital camera Review: Canon Powershot

I ordered 2 of these and had to send one back because of malfunction. So far the other one is working fine. Haven't used it alot to know for sure.

Digital camera Review: Canon Powershot 10 MP Camera
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a much better Canon that I use for professional photography, but as far as a "point and shoot" camera that you can just put in your pants pocket and go - this little gem is amazing. The picture quality is great, and it's very easy to use even if you're not up on all the photographer stuff (has an automatic adjustment setting). It was also about $30-40 cheaper here on Amazon than my local Best Buy (plus with free shipping); GREAT camera Review: Canon Powershot SD1200
Summary: 5 Stars I purchased the Canon Powershot SD1200 and I have been pleased with the size because it is easy to take on trips. Sometimes the pictures will blur or lights will look blurry but it may be just me. For the majority of time, it seems to take pretty decent pictures. I am glad I purchased it.
